Very small full folio in mauve morocco, spine with false nerves, decorated with the title, covers and spine preserved, 382 x 300, 1904, Antwerp. 341p. With table of names of the artists cited in the catalogue. Copy numbered 208, one of 324 on handmade paper, after the 50 on Japanese paper and before the 125 on tinted vellum (i.e. 500 copies in total). Frontispiece: portrait with medallion of the Knight Fritz Meyer. A 4-page notice, paginated 7-10, signed "D" on the Knight precedes the descriptions of paintings (with signatures and provenance sometimes) and for some of them reproduced under serpente (engraved in heliogravure by Meisenbach Riffart & Co in Berlin): 53 engravings for 93 artists mentioned. Clean interior, rather marginal foxing. Clean and intact covers, clear traces of rubbing on the upper cover. Intact corners and fields. Sunned spine, with scuffs on the last nerves, on the head and tail. A fine copy.
