Full marbled Havana sheepskin, long spine decorated with a red title label, a volume number, and floral motifs with finely gilded frames; covers decorated with a gilded garland in the frame, decorated fields, bookmark, all yellow edges, 174 x 110, 559p. 1776. Text in 2 columns. A beautiful bookplate with an unidentified coat of arms, glued to the upper inside cover: a sword crossing a crown of flowers. Very fresh, clean and intact interior. Covers rubbed with numerous scuffs. Corners and fields rubbed. Joints rubbed, well worked, but not open. Spine slightly sunned, rubbed, with numerous scuffs, small losses to the title label and volume number. Good, very firm copy.
