Full marbled sheepskin, long spine richly decorated, title piece in red morocco, super libris label at the foot of the spine, gutter field decorated with a border, all red mottled edges, 210 x 133, 377p. Off the table. 1812. First edition. Identical ex-libris on the upper backplate. Clean interior, marginal foxing. Fold and small tear at the footer of the half-title page. Vignette with the crowned eagle in the title. Upper jaw a little split at the head and foot, but solid. Corners and fields rubbed, corners slightly blunted. Rubbed surfaces with marked skin marks. Back rubbed, cap leveled, scuffs with small gaps in the head box; tail rubbed with scuffs and tears with small loss. .
